Durian Season Is Here!

My mom's friend brought us 4 durian from her durian farm. The durian season is here. There is a durian tree at my dad's office. Sometimes I am surprise that when traveler pass by, they are like "See, durian!".

Durian is a very nice fruit. King of Fruit indeed true but many foreigners don't like it, as they claim that it is the most smelliest food in the world. You are wrong then, the AROMA is strong, but when you taste it, it is darn nice. I bet it is.

Durian nowadays are not as nice as last time because now people added chemical into the soil to make the durian tree grow faster and more fruits, it is not natural already, but somehow it very huge and big. My teacher told me that when go Sarawak, we must try the durian there as no chemical and anything, all natural. Very juicy.

I heard of the Durian name before, but I forget it already. Anyway, I am going to a durian farm this coming holiday at Balik Pulau and I will sure ask for the names.

Ok, what my mom told me is Durian must eat straight when the fruit is open, don't buy those wrap in plastic container as it may lose freshness although kept in the fridge. But keeping the whole thorny fruit at home, the aroma of it may spread into your whole house. At that time, you will need a lot of freshener to refresh your house.
