Wen Chang Hainan Chicken Rice

Today, I bring you to Kedai Makan Dan Minum Wen Chang (Wen Chang's Eat and Drink Shop, lame translation, summarized is Wen Chang's Restaurant) at Lebuh Cintra (Cintra St.) to eat nice Hainan Chicken Rice by Wen Chang. This restaurant is situated heart of Georgetown and very near the tallest building in Penang, the KOMTAR. The restaurant is not AC-ed, but it's clean and during lunch time, it is packed with a lot of people. I believe it is truly Hainan Chicken Rice because the chef and his workers there all communicate with Hainan language. Penang International Floral Festival

Welcome tourist, this week, you got another place to visit which is the Penang Botanical Garden as there is the Penang Internation Floral Festival from 27th May to 3rd June. You get to buy plants, flowers, see beautiful flowers and bring along your camera to snap nice photos. Don't worry if you miss the fun yesterday, this festival runs from 27th May to 3rd June. Morning 9am to 8pm. XD But remember bring towel and wear sport shoes, cause there is 2 site need to climb up. I didn't climb though, my mom don't want to and because we were not in sport shoes. Ice Cream Bread

Yesterday, I went to Botanical Garden for the Penang Floral Festival 2007. After snapping photos at the flowers. My mom decided to buy me Ice Cream which is put in bread. It's nice of course. Bread + Ice Cream = Energy to Blog! Haha.Sadly there don't have my favourite flavor, Vanila! Instead I asked for a scoop of Chocolate and a scoop of Yam.She added a topping of peanut onto it and it taste nice!I don't really know where do sell this, but where I bought it is at infront of Penang Botanical Garden. First Chili's Opens In Penang

I proudly present you the first American Chili's Grill & Bar at Gurney Plaza. Yes, this is the only place you can find Chili's in Penang, not other place, YET. I haven't go try the food out yet, but definitely I will go try very soon man! I have seen pictures of the foods from Chili's and it looks delicious.When I pass by the restaurant, I could see a lot of people in there, most probably is because of it's new here and a lot of people would love to try it out. Gurney Drive

Gurney Drive is a must go place when you come to Penang. Shopping mall and food are famous here. You can go for a jog along Gurney Drive pedestrian walk way in the morning at the same enjoying the cool sea breeze. Then get yourself some nice Bak Kut Teh and Dim Sum at many of the restaurant down Gurney Drive. Durian Season Is Here!

My mom's friend brought us 4 durian from her durian farm. The durian season is here. There is a durian tree at my dad's office. Sometimes I am surprise that when traveler pass by, they are like "See, durian!".Durian is a very nice fruit. King of Fruit indeed true but many foreigners don't like it, as they claim that it is the most smelliest food in the world. You are wrong then, the AROMA is strong, but when you taste it, it is darn nice. I bet it is.Durian nowadays are not as nice as last time because now people added chemical into the soil to make the durian tree grow faster and more fruits, it is not natural already, but somehow it very huge...

Lorong Selamat

To relax myself for the coming school exam which is on the day after tomorrow, I gonna bring you to Lorong Selamat in Penang for nice Ice Kacang and Hokkien Prawn Mee. As I said, the Kopitiam(coffee house in local dialect) is located at Lorong Selamat (Selamat Lane). The Kopitiam got no name.[Image]The Kopitiam at Lorong Selamat. Don't have name of the Kopitiam.
